Where We Work.
Mobile Service.
We Come to You.
The NAG FAB Service Van is kitted out with tools and supplies allowing us to offer mobile services. As long as your rig is in a location that is conducive to receiving service, we’ll come to you!
We are based in Marion, Iowa, USA, and primarily serve Eastern Iowa, Northwest Illinois, and Southwest Wisconsin, but for the right project, we’re willing to take a roadtrip.
In Shop Service.
You Come To Us.
For jobs where mobile service is not feasible, we work out of the residential garage-shop at the NAG FAB home base, or we rent temporary shop space from businesses around Cedar Rapids.
At our home base, we have additional capabilities that we are unable to offer while mobile. These capabilities include:
Metal Fabrication & Welding
Advanced Woodworking Capabilities
3D Printing
Plastic Fabrication & Composites
Who We Are.
Meet the Owner.
Meet Dan Nagawiecki (Nag-uh-wiki), an aerospace engineer, a wrangler of angry pixies, and a protector of magic smoke.
Dan was born with tools in his hands and an insatiable curiosity for how things work. He learned the fundamentals of electricity as a young child by way of his electrician father. He honed his knowledge through a lifetime of electrical projects in residential, automotive, powersport, equipment, industrial, and marine settings. Dan also committed a decade to designing and assessing electrical systems for commercial aircraft. Anything from lawnmowers to jetliners, light bulbs to computer systems, if you’re curious about a thing, chances are, Dan has experience with it.
Through his engineering career and his perfectionist personality, Dan has become a stickler when it comes to electrical system design and installation. Fortunately, this is a desirable character trait when it comes to wiring. If you have Dan wire something, it’ll be done right, it’ll be safe, and it’ll be beautiful.
